Then it's on to Blair Athol Distillery, nestled at the foot of the Highlands in one of Scotland's most picturesque settings. As we explore, I'll share insights into how the local water source and unique production methods influence the whisky's character. We'll then take a scenic drive past Edradour, Scotland's smallest traditional distillery – a photographer's dream with its whitewashed buildings and traditional pagodas. Our journey continues to Dalwhinnie, where the high altitude and pure mountain air play crucial roles in crafting their distinctive spirit.

For those starting in Inverness, we'll begin our adventure by heading south through the majestic Cairngorms National Park, following a reverse route that ensures you don't miss any of these Highland gems. By evening, everyone converges in Speyside, the heart of whisky country, where we'll settle in for two nights.
